word for today, michelle declares (though no one cares, and wow she's starting to rhyme, just in time), is: moderation! :D oh in every sense of the word, including: a) controlling the amount of silence you contribute to the group during say, symposium discussions (hahaha, i chuckle) and b) subtle manoeuvring of marks. (: tahaha anyway michelle is in an abnormally good mood today, because she has shockingly realized that she actually did meet her set targets of an average of (100 minus certain number) marks. oh, and she stares suspiciously at the extremely similar comments that she got for mep this year and in the previous year. hmm. oh and any person looking at her report slip will be laughing their heads off at the fact that her literature scores are significantly (and when i say significantly i do mean significantly) better than her english ones. then again, that has almost always been the case.

gpa (oh y'know that's also the abbreviation for the golden point award? when michelle first saw that she was like, ohdear.) and random numbers on a sheet of paper aside, day 1 of symposium was quite fruitful! (: [ohoh but i say CAP still wins, hands-down. sorry ): but that might change if symposium was like a week-long extravanganza, except that it isn't this time round.] i think station games will be interesting, hee. :D and hmm, if i can continue being the autosummarizer (ahh, aCAPella and ed) i wouldn't exactly mind. means that no one would have to stare at me while i try to collect those thoughts that flit across my brains like uh, spirits, since i'll merely be collecting other people's thoughts! nyak. (:

oh and michelle hates t-shirt sizes because she thinks t-shirt sizes hate her as well. for CAP seminar, she got an oversized baggy t-shirt that she could practically swim in and well, swim out of, and she had to fold her sleeves like 1295879 times (basically put, more than the usual 3). and now, for symposium, guess what! she got a scarily small t-shirt that technically does not require her to honour the age-old rgs tradition of sleeve-folding. which is like, what?! oh dear me, what has she done to incur the wrath of t-shirts, or t-shirt sizes for that matter! but on second thoughts, other people face similar problems too, so she shall not wallow in self-pity. (:

[excuse sudden change in perspective. it happens all the time.]

pfft i hit my violin against a chair, it went out of tune. but i successfully restored it. even though ample warning has been given to 'not try fiddling with the tuning pegs yourself'. but shhh, you didn't read that. ;D

okay ouch my eyes are hurting and no amount of eyedrops seems to help alleviate it. (on the contrary, it stings twice as painfully.) hurrah for a totally nonsensical post, i meant to reflect on something more useful but apparently the third person perspective has once again, led me off on a tangent. blah.

oh and just a final bit of randomness: we were talking about the essence of a board today during symposium, going back to basics, our purpose/function/role and everything else, and to michelle's utmost horror she caught herself writing this in response to a history sbq: 'in short, the kempeitai's primary function is...' argh horror of horrors!

anyway, just so that i can elaborate on these points further next time, i have ONE: found new-found motivation for work in pb! (: [not that i was never motivated, but one needs some recharging from time to time, indeed.] TWO: it's all a matter of perspective, even when it comes to school matters. and uh, i don't have a three. okay nevermind.

sleep beckons! (:

composed; 10:33 PM :D

lives, writes, sings, plays the piano, and attempts to sound intellectual at times (conclusion: fails rather miserably).

loves music (almost strictly classical, hurhur & inclusive of faziolis!), literature (& also the sciences - no they are not in conflict), making hopelessly lame puns, laughter, white/milk chocolate, cheesecake, the world & the people in it. list not exhaustive, by the way.

wants the world to be filled with peace, joy and love, and also wants (perhaps a little more selfishly) to be happy, plus lead a life of purpose. that would be more than enough. (:

oh, and she likes embarking on her own 'free hugs!' campaigns after exams and the like; not really sure why. D: (at any rate, you can tell that she's random enough.)

loves you!♥

very plain, she knows; but this is probably herself in its entirety - nothing more than a compilation of perhaps-boring-to-you little things (and the occasional Important Event), but also nothing less than all the brilliant memories which constitutes her life, and perhaps yours.

also interpreted as an inability to express with other things but words (nothing more, nothing less!), although even words sometimes won't do enough. but she does like orange.

v2.0 (230208): maybe solid grey isn't that fantastic after all. but wordy is good, all the same. she's weird, she knows.

ver. i-pretend-that-it-is-3.0-when-i-know-it-is-not (070608): i am boring, take that. (:

v4.0 (200908): got bored, so cut down on the quasi-fanciful stuff even more. perfectly plain now, though somehow the background still doesn't work on safari / google chrome. ):
